PPLD (porteur polyvalent lourd de dépannage) – Multi-Purpose Recovery Truck.

The PPLD is the ultimate logistics support vehicle. It is used for the recovery, evacuation and extraction of immobilised vehicles and machinery.

Its recovery system has a main 18-tonne haulage winch and an auxiliary winch enabling it to cope with all situations.

To perform its missions, it is equipped with a high-capacity crane and towing arm. It has excellent mobility and protection adapted to front-line missions.

PPLOG (porteur polyvalent logistique équipé de système de chargement) – Multi-Purpose Logistic Carrier.

The PPLOG is an 8×8 logistic transport vehicle which can be armoured. It features a hydraulic arm and excellent loading capability.

This carrier can carry various payloads, including dangerous substances, in accordance with the ADR regulation.

The PPLOG and its trailer (RLOG) form a whole: truck, trailer and flat racks. Together, they form the French army’s latest generation logistic convoy, PPLOG/R, widely used in France and abroad.
