Четырехместный автомобиль был подарен профессору Ферри Порше на 75-летие в 1984 году. По сравнению с купе Porsche 928 колесная база была растянута на 254 мм, а удлиненная панель крыши и более вертикальное заднее стекло позволяли разместить на задних сиденьях высоких пассажиров.
