The Medibuses for Deutsche Bahn were built by VDL Bus Venlo in cooperation with VDL Bus Heerenveen and VDL Bus Chassis. The Citea LLE-127 has been designed entirely according to the wishes of the customer. The vehicle has been converted into a doctor’s practice in which the four rooms (treatment room, consultation room, laboratory and waiting room) are equipped with cupboards and furniture. Each room also has its own air conditioning. Solar panels on the roof provide clean energy so that the bus is less dependent on external power on location.

The bus was built by VDL Bus Venlo in collaboration with VDL Bus Heerenveen and VDL Bus Chassis.

The Citea LLE is a low-entry bus based on an innovative lightweight concept. This 12.7-meter variant is the longest of the VDL Citea LLE type. The VDL Citea LLE for DB Regio Bus is a customer-specific vehicle. Thanks to modifications to the basic vehicle structure, the bus was completely customized to meet the customer's needs. The bus is fully configured as a medical clinic and features four rooms complete with cabinets and furniture. Each room also has its own air conditioning. A large awning has been mounted on the side of the bus to provide an additional waiting area if needed. Solar panels mounted on the bus roof provide clean energy.
