Liebherr has been involved in the production of fire brigade cranes for more than 40 years. Over 100 of these special cranes with load capacity between 25 and 70 tonnes are now in used by lots of professional services around Europe. Reutlingen Fire Brigade described its new LTM 1070-4.2 as an all-rounder. The rescue and operating machine with cable winch and fire-fighting equipment provides technical assistance, is used after road traffic accidents involving trucks, for rescuing people, for hoisting loads and for securing actions at altitudes after explosions or collapses.
