Cars designed and built specifically for automobile racing, both for mass races and for setting speed records. Unlike production sports cars for the road, racing cars have a maximally lightweight body, which lacks many important control and safety components. These cars are generally not allowed on public roads.
Built in 1995, chassis #CM-03 was not an actual GTS-R. This car was an engineering mule which had been used to develop the Viper GTS and then utilized by Viper GTS-R program as a prototype for the race car. CM-03 went on to be used for numerous developmental tests proving grounds until the first GTS-R chassis had been completed in summer 1995. From this point its location/existence is unknown.
