Boano en orden cronológico

Ferrari 250 GT Boano Coupé production began in the early of 1956. It was designed by Pininfarina, but bodywork were made by Carrozerria Boano. In the middle of 1957 Mario Boano, the owner of Carrozzeria Boano, began to work in the FIAT Centro Stilo. The family business was headed by his son in law Ezio Ellena, thus Carrozzeria Boano was renamed to Carrozzeria Ellena. From the middle of 1957 to the middle of 1958 50 more copies of Ferrari 250 GT Boano Coupé were made, with the name Ferrari 250 GT Ellena Coupé. First copies made by Ellena (#0679GT - #0697GT) were identical to Boano, all the next were distinguished by a high roofline and lack of air vents in the windows.
