The Bimota YB6 Tuatara was a special fuel-injected edition of the YB6 range with 145 HP at 9,500 RPM from its 1000cc Yamaha engine and 170 MPH top speed.
It was the fastest production bike at the time although "Tuatara" was the name of a New Zealand animal famous for its slowness.
Named Dieci (ten) in recognition of the 10th collaboration between Bimota with Yamaha.
Furano is the name of the wind in the Adriatic sea.
